Mission

The Community College of Philadelphia Foundation enhances and enriches the educational experiences of Community College of Philadelphia students by providing external resources to support the College's mission. As its private funding development arm, the Foundation seeks to support the College's mission by bringing together community leaders who will serve as ambassadors broadening the College's image community wide. The Foundation serves the College by creating partnerships with individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations to raise private gifts for scholarships, instructional equipment, professional development and capital needs. The Foundation raises funds through its annual fund campaign, special events programs, and individual and corporate solicitations. The Foundation's mission is to highlight the College's strategic priorities by attracting philanthropic contributions; raising public awareness of the College’s people and programs; and engaging current and former students, faculty, staff and friends to actively participate in the College’s endeavors.
