Adaptability Practices
30 out of 30 points
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year
In the last year our organization has had to adapt to external changes brought about by the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic as well changes in the needs of our community and within our own organization. As a team we have had to work together to adjust our plans and procedures to provide new ways to work with our clients and partner agencies. This includes, virtual visits and appointments and increased sanitation and safety measures when interacting with clients. Changes to our procedures and policies have resulted from exercising our communication and interpersonal skills with one another. Having to rely on the strengths of one another in the organization has allowed our staff to use their gifting and skills to advance our mission forward with minimal disruption. By bringing our staff to the table we have been able to make appropriate changes that benefit all involved and allow our team to have a voice in ongoing development of the organization. Our leadership team also experienced changes last year that proved to have minimal disruption to the organization because of our ability to develop leaders from within the organization that enables us to maintain a leadership pipeline for succession of high level leadership.
