The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
Due to Covid-19 we really need to focus both our energy and communication in an contactless environment. When you look at the process of adopting a pet it involves a lot of contact with people and animals. We made sure every adopter felt as safe as possible during the adoption process by posting and verbally communicating the safeguard we adopted from the CDC and medical professionals. This was tough since not everyone felt the same on what best practices worked and didn't work. By having this process in place we never stopped adopting animals through out the covid experience.
