    Hope Heals

    Mission

    Hope Heals creates spiritual and social spaces of belonging and belovedness for families affected by disabilities to experience the hope of Jesus Christ in the context of inter-ability communities. We live out this mission at Hope Heals Camp, the only retreat in the world inviting entire families affected by disabilities—regardless of age, diagnosis, or location—to enjoy multi-day respite, a rich network of relationships, and access to world class Christ-centered resources, completely free of charge. Camp is hosted over five weeks in Nauvoo, AL at Camp McDowell and we serve 250 people each week. We have also expanded our impact by adding a 5th week to Camp this year, launching a weekend Retreat, a universally-accessible coffee shop and retail space called Mend Coffee and Goods, and a podcast called The GoodHard Story!
