We have not issued this nonprofit an Impact & Results score. This does not indicate a positive or negative assessment, only that we have not reached a conclusion for one of the following reasons:
The nonprofit is eligible for a score, but we have not yet gotten to scoring it.
The nonprofit is eligible for a score, but we have not yet developed the specific algorithms to estimate the impact of the type of service it delivers and so cannot issue a score yet.

We are committed to offering performance opportunity and art education to everyone. We believe we're all born creatives, but don't always have the time, the means, the encouragement or the environment to nurture, nourish and grow that artistic creativity. It is no secret that the arts are beneficial to any individual, community and society, and we are doing what we can to ensure it is there for everyone to partake and enjoy. We are particularly interested in helping immigrant girls and women. Our founder, being one herself, feels that there are tools available to share and practice not only to overcome the challenge of such predisposition but look at it as an advantageous quality to be enjoyed with pride and potential.
We try to be proactive, work hard and adapt to the strategy: identifying the problem is half the solution. Reaching out to the community in person is our strongest method of growing our network; turning our followers into our ambassadors is another. We offer internships to youth and offer them performance opportunities with established artists which creates an organic mentorship environment, sometimes turning into a long-term relationship. We offer information sessions for immigrant women and girls and offer them roles in our events as facilitators, co-producers, artists assistants, interns and more.
We are only in our 4th year, so we are yet to grow substantially. It is our firm belief that we have the substance to do it all and more, but we need time and resources to do the right way - in a sustainable, organic way.
We track progress by: - in person feedback - following our programs' participants progress after they leave our programs - the growth of our performer and student body - the growth of our mailing list - our financial health - the recognition we get from the community - the recognition form partner organizations and peer arts organizations - personal testimonies
We directly serve about 200 people through our education and performance programs We have been recognized by several city and state agencies; given funds and public recognition We have over 3000 subscribers (form NYC, the States and World Wide) We run 5 well-organized, well-attended productions each season We run 4 well-organized, well-attended education programs each season Our goals are: extending the community we serve broadening our board securing a permanent space for our programs offer paid internships
