The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: The Climate Museum uses art to enhance understanding and, above all, as a tool to evoke emotional responses that leave visitors feeling empowered to advocate for themselves, their communities, and the planet. The Museum also provides its community with practical tools to channel these emotional responses into action through civic dialogue, protest, and advocacy with elected officials.
Goal Two: The public has a deep appetite for complex information about climate and justice when presented through arts and visual culture. With a permanent home secured for 2029, the Museum seeks to continue bringing topics largely ignored outside of the sustainability sector into the arts and culture world by exploring themes such as climate and migration, gender justice, and the land back movement.
Goal Three: Through providing free and accessible exhibitions, art installations, advocacy tools, events, and youth programs, the Climate Museum also serves as a convening space for community partners, fostering critical conversations and platforming frontline organizations.
