The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: Expand the education (classroom and workshops) and mentoring (peer-to-peer) programs to include not only founders and CEO but also the rest of the c-suite (CRO, CFO, BD Commercial, operations, sales, and marketing). In particular, we have established a female founder, operator, and investor peer network to address the special challenges for women.
Goal Two: The Triangle’s top universities attract students nationwide, many eager to work with local startups but lacking access to this network. CED’s Talent in Training (Startup TNT) program bridges this gap, offering 4-6 paid internships each semester. Students gain hands-on experience, connect with our rich entrepreneurial ecosystem, and discover job opportunities in Triangle-based companies.
Goal Three: Securing initial capital to prove product-market fit is often the toughest challenge for deep tech founders. The CED Evergreen Fund bridges this critical gap, empowering founders to achieve key milestones. Backed by CED’s extensive network of successful entrepreneurs, the fund accelerates growth and de-risks the path to scaling transformative innovation.
