A trained successor to the Collections Director will be in place by mid-2028, prepared to lead the museum toward AAM accreditation and best-practice collections management.
Goal Two: By 2030, the National WASP WWII Museum will be a premier global destination where history, innovation, and STEM intersect—offering year-round programs, events, and tours that inspire learners and honor the WASP legacy, supported by strong education, sustainable staffing, and robust marketing and tourism partnerships.
Goal Three: By the end of 2030, the National WASP WWII Museum will build a $5M endowment to ensure long-term sustainability, secure $2M in grants for education and growth, and increase non-grant philanthropic contributions by 30%. Membership will grow by 50%, strengthening recurring revenue and deepening community engagement.
