Goal One: Talbot House Ministries launched the Center for Women and Children in Winter Haven, Fl to provide safe housing, case management, employment support, healthcare, and life skills for homeless mothers and children. The program empowers families to achieve stability through Trauma Informed Care, education, and employment readiness that leads to self sufficiency.
Goal Two: Talbot House Ministries is transitioning its overnight shelter program into a structured residential program providing 24/7 housing , intensive case management, medical care, mental health counseling, recovery programs, education and employment services that contributes to their individualized success plan. This shift promotes long term stability, addressing root causes of homelessness.
Goal Three: Talbot House Ministries aims to expand its successful Homeless Diversion Program, which prevents long term homelessness by providing a one time immediate rapid resolution through relocation and financial assistance for those qualifiable households. By scaling up this program, we can help reduce system strain, and promote housing stability through a proven cost effective intervention.
