Atlas Assistance Dogs

Mission

Atlas fundamentally expands access to assistance dogs. We support people with disabilities to train and certify their own service dog using positive, ethical training methods. At Atlas, we believe anyone who would benefit from a qualified assistance dog should be able to have one.

Vision

Our vision is a world in which anyone who can benefit from a qualified assistance dog can have one.

Goals

1.Increase access to service dog training through outreach to the disability community and helping more disabled people train their own service dog. Expand services to raise and train service dogs.
2.Improve financial oversight and reporting by completing integration of tools such as QuickBooks and Sales Force and creating regular automated reports comparing budgets to spending.
3.Increase diversity, equity, and inclusion within Atlas, including increased representation by BIPOC and other underrepresented communities and expanded relationships with other disability groups.
