Investment in Leadership Development

The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
In the past year, we have had to stop our in-person support groups - which is a staple of our foundation. Instead, we relied on Zoom based support meetings for our adult groups. When feasible, we also held Zoom based fun groups for our children.
In the midst of the pandemic, to assist our widows in obtaining food and supplies without bringing their children out into the stores and support our non-working members, we organized and held food and household supply drive ups. We included art kits for the children. Every 2 weeks our members drove by, opened their trunks and received food and cleaning supplies. We also networked locations for them to get other food and supplies.
