The President attends workshops and online classes concerning best practices and attends a nonprofit collaborative every month. This usually amounts to approximately 10 hours a month. Board members are encouraged to also attend.

We spend a lot of time networking with businesses and providers in our local area. We go to their facilities, send out emails and engage with their programs. We also participate in a monthly nonprofit collaborative to engage in strategies to engage with one another. We offer advertising partnerships on our website and feature a business every month in our newsletter. Businesses are also encouraged to write blog articles which we will feature on our website. We market and advertise making several daily posts on our pages. Our monthly newsletter also helps raise awareness.

During the past year, we have been doing a lot of rebuilding. We had many board members leave due to moving out of state. We have been replacing these people and have been working on training them and reassigning duties. While doing this, we have still been able to maintain quality services.
