Mission

Filling the Gap NFP is a restorative organization dedicated to providing dignified and transformational housing to people in need. Our vision is to create an environment in the south suburbs of Chicago where residents looking to rebuild their lives can find a stable place to live. We look to bring together resources from the community, local government, stakeholders, and other non-profit agencies to increase the number of housing options available to this widely underserved population.

Goals

1.Purchase the Oak House, a multi-flat building in which we can expand our housing program across the south suburbs of Chicago.
2.Expanding our mentoring roles into companions and coaches. This multiplies the community around our residents and makes greater expertise available to them as they work towards financial, legal, personal, spiritual, professional, and housing goals.
