Vision

Our vision is to promote public dialogue concerning the identification, preservation, and restoration of natural and cultural sound environments.

Goals

1. 1.MSAE is currently working on establishing a clear board structure that focuses on growing and improving membership engagement, communications/marketing, programming, financial operations, and the overall executive functioning of the organization.
2. 2.For our annual Summer Soundwalks in the Park, our basic goals for this program are to develop cohort of diverse and local practitioners and artists, to ensure every single soundwalk is ADA accessible, and to collect better data on impact, including numbers and demographics on public participation.
3. 3.MSAE is committed to facilitating individual artistic projects and initiatives that explore the relationship between sound, the environment, and culture in the greater Midwest area. We would like to financially support the work of local artists, musicians, composers, researchers, and scientists whose projects and research align with MSAE’s mission.
