Muslim Response USA greatly values the capacity building of its Team for effectively leading the organization. The CEO of the organization served as Board Member at the North American Men Engage Network (NAMEN) last year where he worked with renowned human rights activists and practitioners and provided leadership to the Fund Development Committee. The learnings from this experience helped in shaping up MRUSA resource mobilization and program strategies. Likewise, the CEO also attended a number capacity building events organized by the World Bank, and other relevant networks and organizations in the past 18 months.

Muslim Response USA is actively engaged with a number of organizations, networks, alliances and collaborates with them for program implementation, information sharing, networking/advocacy and interfaith harmony; here are a few examples: A. As mentioned in the earlier sections, the COVID-19 related lock-downs and restrictions posed serious challenges to our resource mobilization and field operations. Since most of our funds come from individual donors who are passionate about our cause and contribute to our different programs. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, we have not been able to organize any community based fundraising events, and instead, we concentrated more on digital marketing and used social media platforms for raising awareness about our organization and work. This shift in our strategy has proved quite effective and helped us mobilize funds for the continuation of our poverty focused and humanitarian projects in the regions affected by disasters, conflicts, poverty and hunger.
