Mission

At Project 48 (P48), our mission is to provide essential items, life skills, and caring connections to youth ages 7–23 who are experiencing foster care,particularly during times of crisis or transition. We believe every young person deserves to feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Our work is rooted in equity, dignity, and belonging, and we partner with schools, caseworkers, volunteers, and community organizations to deliver personalized support that honors each youth’s unique story. Whether it's packing high-quality essentials into our signature duffel bags, facilitating skill-building opportunities, or creating moments of joy and community, we strive to meet youth where they are with practical tools and genuine care. We’re committed to a trauma-informed, youth-centered approach that empowers youth to navigate transitions with confidence and dignity.
