    Ouelessebougou Alliance

    Mission

Ouelessebougou Alliance (OA) works in partnership with villagers to transform the quality of life in the Ouelessebougou region of Mali by delivering sustainable programs in health and education. The West African nation of Mali is landlocked and one of the least developed countries in the world. Villagers in rural communities face daily challenges of extreme poverty. OA is committed to assist the people of Mali through a long-term development relationship. OA’s purpose is two-fold: • To work in partnership with village citizens to achieve their community development objectives in the areas of health and education. • To cultivate globally minded citizens in Utah by providing opportunities for students and community members to learn about the Malian culture, history, and position in the global community.
