The Visual Freedom Foundation addresses the lack of access to life-enhancing vision correction procedures such as LASIK, LALEX, and Surface Ablation, for the surgical correction of visual refractive error in underserved populations. Our mission is for vision correction procedures such as LASIK and LALEX, to become primary care for the correction of refractive error globally. By supporting strategic surgical interventions, making necessary infrastructure investments, training the next generation of refractive surgeons, and by measuring key areas of impact, the Visual Freedom Foundation aims to restore the “Freedom of Sight to All”.

Visual Freedom Foundation cannot be rated because Charity Navigator has not received the public data required to create a star rating.
To receive a star rating, a charity must be a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charity. Private foundations, consolidated subsidiaries, and organizations with revoked or inactive IRS status are not eligible for a rating.
Eligible charities must also meet the following criteria:
A nonprofit may be listed but not rated if it does not yet meet Form 990 filing requirements, is newly registered, files only Form 990-EZ or 990-N, or is otherwise ineligible for a star rating.
