Promised Land Foundation
Mission
Promised Land Foundation seeks to address the challenges of poverty for children and their families living in Zambia and Malawi, Africa, and beyond. We partner with local organizations already working in their communities to provide education, food, shelter, clothing, and the hope and love of the gospel. Our heartfelt prayer is that more and more children grow up without the burden of poverty and can experience the hope of having opportunities for success and living their lives to the fullest potential. “Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute. Rescue the poor and helpless; deliver them from the grasp of evil people” PSALM 82: 3-4 NLT
Vision
We endeavor to expand the Women’s Ministry in the Bauleni and Mulenga compounds, of Lusaka and Kitwe, Zambia. The need for a safe haven for victimized women continues to grow. We plan to support even more girls through our One Girl, One Promise of Blantyre, Malawi initiative focused on teenage mothers with tragic stories. We helped purchase land for the Orphans we support in Dedza, Malawi to enable them to farm their own food. This initiative will provide them with valuable skills, a sense of self-reliance, and long-term sustainability. And by growing support for Healing Hearts Mission in the Mulenga compound of Kitwe, Zambia, where we currently educate, cloth, and feed 300 vulnerable and impoverished children
Goals
- 1.Please reference "Vision" above and our website. Notwithstanding, our goals in 2026 and beyond are to expand our charitable work/ministries to include full education for all our orphans and vulnerable children we serve; additionally, we inspire to add Trade Schools to our programs for the students to provide sustainable living opportunities. Last, to add medical clinics for all our programs.
- 2.As I, Timothy A. Peloquin (Founder and President of Promised Land Foundation) have recently retired, my sole focus is to raise sufficient funds to maintain and grow our important and needed work in serving the less fortunate ones in sustainable means. The work underway is to expand and improve our fundraisers and seek more consistent and long-term donors to invest in our inspiring work.
- 3.We as an organization are incredibly dedicated to our mission as shown in our website, our story, our fundraisers, and most importantly our work "on the ground" in Africa which we personally invest in, witness, and work alongside our trusted ministry partners in "enriching lives of the less fortunate with meaningful hope".
