At Cibus Mission, we believe in Cibus:Cibus is Latin for sustenance, but for Cibus Mission we believe in sustenance for all, nourishing mind, body, heart, & spirit. Locally, we serve Maryland and the surrounding tri-state area by providing essential resources, community development programs, and empowerment opportunities for individuals, veterans, and families in need. Through initiatives like our Youth Urban Farm and Bike Repair Program, we cultivate resilience, skills, and hope for future generations. We tackle systemic challenges like food insecurity, youth disenfranchisement, and unequal access to resources, prioritizing holistic care that honors each person’s dignity. Our mission is simple: to build communities where everyone has the tools to thrive—physically and spiritually—and where no one walks the path toward Cibus alone

Cibus Mission cannot be rated because Charity Navigator has not received the public data required to create a star rating.
To receive a star rating, a charity must be a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charity. Private foundations, consolidated subsidiaries, and organizations with revoked or inactive IRS status are not eligible for a rating.
Eligible charities must also meet the following criteria:
