Vision

Maui Humane Society's vision is a Maui where every animal is cherished, respected, and protected. We envision a community united in compassion, where education and advocacy ensure that all animals live safe, healthy, and fulfilled lives. By inspiring respect for all creatures, we strive to create a harmonious coexistence between humans and animals, fostering a future where no animal suffers, and every life is valued.

Goals

1. 1.Maui Humane Society aims to expand public services for pet owners in Maui County, with the goal of keeping pets in homes. This includes increasing access to care for at-risk pets and their families, expanding outreach to underserved communities, and improving Maui Humane Society services on Molokai.
2. 2.Maui Humane Society is committed to strengthening its organizational capacity with a particular focus on enhancing the finance team. Key initiatives include building stronger alliances with community partners, upgrading our facilities, and restructuring operations to better align with current best practices in animal welfare.
3. 3.Maui Humane Society aims to provide high-quality standards of care for all animals. This includes implementing the Association Shelter Veterinarians' Standards of Care, expanding enrichment for all shelter animals, and improving living spaces for all shelter animals.
