October 22, 2019 (Glen Rock, N.J.) -- Charity Navigator, the nation's largest and most-utilized charity evaluator, announced today that Stephen Rockwell has been appointed as the organization’s Chief Ratings Technology Officer.
The hiring of this integral leadership position will help Charity Navigator continue to innovate and bring value to the donors who access the organization’s website more than 10 million times each year.

Stephen joins Charity Navigator from a five-year tenure at America’s Friend Service Committee where he served as Chief Information and Technology Officer. He holds a Master’s of Public Administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School and a Master’s of Business Administration from MIT's Sloan School of Management. Stephen is an experienced executive with a record of success in creating innovative, technology-driven solutions to solve pressing social and environmental issues, raising philanthropic investment to drive impact, and building cohesive and high-performing teams within organizations and across networks.
