Siloam Health's mission is to share the love of Christ by serving those in need through health care. In 1991, a group of members at Belmont Church decided to become part of the solution to our broken health care system by starting a volunteer-driven clinic to care for the uninsured and underserved. Thus, Siloam Health was born. Siloam is a faith-based, charitably funded nonprofit organization that provides low-cost, high-quality, whole-person care to the uninsured in Middle Tennessee as well as health promotion among our city's immigrant and refugee communities. Siloam Health's purpose is to serve as a whole-person health ministry among the poor as a catalyst for the flourishing of a whole, new Nashville. Siloam also offers mentorship to the next generation of health care providers through the Siloam Institute for Faith, Health, and Culture.
