Founded in 1983, the St. Boniface Haiti Foundation is committed to helping the poorest of the poor in rural Haiti. Through a variety of health care, education and community development initiatives, the organization creates a model of successful, sustainable development that empowers local leadership and that can be replicated throughout the country. Its mission is as follows:

We believe that ensuring access to life-saving and life-changing health services is a critical component to building strong and productive communities.

Through its hospital, a satellite clinic, and mobile clinics, St. Boniface reaches more than 65,000 patients a year.
