Organization Mission
The Worcester County Food Bank's (WCFB) mission is to engage, educate, and lead Worcester County in creating a hunger-free community. 95 percent of all donated resources goes directly towards creating a hunger-free community.
As the leading food security organization in Worcester County, WCFB believes that hunger is a solvable problem, that healthy food is a fundamental right of all people and an issue of social justice. WCFB commits to ending hunger:
* by collecting and distributing quality donations of fresh, frozen and non-perishable food to families through a network of food pantries.
* by advocating for programs and policies such as SNAP and child tax credits that increase access to healthy food and address the root causes of hunger and poverty.
