The people we serve, Our staff, Our board, Our funders, Our community partners
What challenges does the organization face when collecting feedback?
It is difficult to get the people we serve to respond to requests for feedback, The people we serve tell us they find data collection burdensome, It is difficult to find the ongoing funding to support feedback collection, We rely on volunteers, and the time required to collect feedback can be a burden on them
Describe a recent change in your organization that resulted from feedback.
As a result of feedback from the educators and students who participated in the 2018-19 Math Video Challenge, we completely revamped the program for 2019-20 Some of the changes we made include: -Teams said they felt some participants in the contest were getting too much help from adults We therefore clarified the rules and expectations for teams and created new guidelines to help ensure teams would be successful in the contest while following the rules -Teams said they needed more resources to create a video We therefore provided new online resources, plus mailed kits of materials to every team, including a tripod for filming -Teams said they wanted more teams to be recognized based on the quality of their video We therefore restructured the contest and added new prizes and awards
