Founded in 1969, the Roger Baldwin Foundation of the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois (ACLU) is dedicated to protecting freedom, liberty, equality and justice for all within the United States. The Roger Baldwin Foundation of ACLU facilitates an increased understanding of civil liberties and rights, inquire into the protection of civil liberties and rights, and to publish the results of these inquiries. They operate numerous programs that challenge restrictive, unconstitutional and discriminative conditions imposed on individuals.
