4 Paws for Ability strives to be the leading provider of service dogs for children regardless of disability as well as adult children with caregiver guardianship who cannot live independently. 4 Paws assists Veterans who have given selflessly to our country by providing service dogs which can assist with disabilities on a case by case basis as well as adults living with hearing loss, diabetes, or Alzheimer's. Funding of a 4 Paws' service dog is partially the responsibility of the children's family and adults. Veterans are free. Applicants typically use fund-raising activities or pay a fee for service to gather these funds, and 4 Paws assists the applicant as necessary. 4 Paws has no eligibility requirements beyond a physician statement that the person requesting a service dog has a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
