Incorporated in 1979 as a day program for abused children, The Children's Place at Home Safe has taken the lead in our community by developing the programs and services necessary to respond to the growing needs of children and families. Today, the agency now known as HomeSafe, provides a complete system of care for children who have been sexually, physically and emotionally abused. Our services include therapeutic residential care and the only Specialized Therapeutic Group Care program in Palm Beach County. Our SafetyNet Program provides immediate intervention and prevention services to victims of domestic violence and their children. HomeSafe is the exclusive entry agency for the Healthy Beginnings system of care for children ages zero through five. Healthy Beginning's main goals are to prevent child abuse and neglect and help parents prepare their children to be eager and ready to learn by kindergarten.
