Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of Saint Louis is the largest private provider of social services in the state of Missouri. Organized as a federation, Catholic Charities is comprised of eight agencies offering more than 100 programs to benefit, on average, approximately 156,000 poor and impoverished people annually. In response to the teachings of Jesus Christ, the mission of Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Saint Louis is to serve people in need, especially those who are poor and vulnerable; to work to improve social conditions for all people in the community; and to call members of the Church and community to do the same.
