The Hunter Museum of American Art's mission is to engage our diverse audiences in active dialogues about the importance, meaning, and relevance of American Art. This is done through preservation, growth and interpretation of its exemplary collection; challenging, wide-ranging, and interactive exhibitions; and compelling and innovative educational programs.
