Founded in 2003, Operation Gratitude seeks to forge strong bonds between Americans and their Military and First Responder heroes through volunteer service projects, acts of gratitude, and meaningful engagements in communities nationwide. Operation Gratitude annually sends 300,000+ care packages filled with food, hygiene products, entertainment and handmade items, plus personal letters of support, addressed to individual Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed overseas, to their children left behind, and to Veterans, New Recruits, First Responders, Wounded Heroes and their Caregivers. Through large-scale assembly days, in-person deliveries, collection drives, letter writing campaigns, craft projects and financial donations, Operation Gratitude provides civilians anywhere in America with a way to say "Thank You" to the men and women who serve our country.
