The Academy of Hope Adult Public Charter School was founded in 1985 in Washington D.C. with the mission to provide high quality adult basic education in a manner that changes lives and improves our community. The Academy of Hope provides a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of adult learners including Adult Basic Education, General Educational Development, External Diploma Program and pathways to college success. Academy of Home also offers Education Services to assist adult learners in attaining their educational goals, including computer training, workplace literacy and career assessment and planning.
