On July 26, 2017, it came to the attention of Charity Navigator that Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, is the subject of an investigation by The Department of Rehabilitation and the California Highway Patrol according to an article titled, "Embezzlement or billing dispute? Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired investigated for alleged overbilling." For this reason, we have issued a Moderate Concern CN Advisory.
