On November 6, 2017, Richmond County Daily Journal reported that Hamlet Rescue and Emergency Medical Services was, or may continue to be, a subject of a material diversion of assets in an article titled, "Former Hamlet fire chief charged with embezzling $20K from rescue squad." For this reason, we have issued a Moderate Concern CN Advisory as the allegations have yet to be confirmed. For more information regarding this matter, please see the Richmond County Daily Journal article.
