Founded in 2005, Texas Muslim Women's Foundation (TMWF) aims to empower, promote and support all women and their families, with a special focus on North Texas. We are an equal opportunity provider. We engage all members of the community – women, men, seniors, families and youth through our various programs. We provide social and family violence services that foster peace and well-being in the home through our Peace in the Home Services and Peaceful Oasis Shelter. In addition, TMWF also arranges leadership skills development for Muslim youth to inspire the next generation to build a promising future for our society and educational programs for Muslim and non-Muslim community members to learn about topics essential to individual and community welfare.
