CRISTA is a family of seven unique ministries united by a common mission: to love God by serving people. Originally founded just north of Seattle in 1948, we now serve millions of people and communities throughout the world each year in the form of disaster response, global relief/development, education, broadcast media, youth camps, senior living communities and veterinary missions. The incredible diversity of these ministries makes CRISTA one of the most distinctive non-profit organizations in the world today.
The seven ministries that comprise the CRISTA family include CRISTA Senior Living (part of CRISTA since 1949), King's Schools (1950), CRISTA Media (1954), CRISTA Camps (1962), World Concern (1970), Christian Veterinary Mission (1978) and Seattle Urban Academy (1993).
As CRISTA, we love God by serving people - meeting practical and spiritual needs - so that those we serve may be built up in love, united in faith, and maturing in Christ.
