Founded as Students Against Driving Drunk in 1981, SADD - Students Against Destructive Decisions' works to empower teens, engage parents, mobilize communities, and change lives around the issues of teen traffic safety, substance abuse, and personal health and safety. Through a national network of chapters in middle schools, high schools, and colleges, we're building the leaders of today.

In light of the massive school closures due to COVID-19, many members of SADD expressed a desire to continue to connect to prevent feelings of depression, anxiety, and isolation As a result, nearly 2,000 virtual chapters were created to support and strengthen the SADD community virtually
