Since 1935, it has played a central role in providing social services and advocacy to those most in need in Contra Costa and Alameda counties regardless of their religious faith. CCEB services people in need who reside in the East Bay. These include the elderly, the hungry and the homeless, families and children, immigrants and refugees, the unemployed and underemployed, victims of violence, at-risk youth, and others. The mission of Catholic Charities is to serve those most in need, while calling for justice in the community.
