Heal the Bay is an environmental nonprofit dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds of Greater Los Angeles safe, healthy and clean. To fulfill our mission, we use science, education, community action, and advocacy.

Programs include: The Beach Report Card, Coastal Cleanup Day - Los Angeles County, Speakers Bureau, Key to the Sea, Nothin' But Sand Beach Cleanups, MPA Watch, Pier Angler Outreach Program, Stream Team, Marine Debris Prevention Program, Know the Flow and the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium, Heal the Bay's marine science education facility.
