Mission

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. is a social service agency that provides assistance to those in need in the ten-county area of Southwest Florida. In 2010, the agency helped over 40,000 people through a variety of programs. Services include after-school tutoring and reading programs, adult tutoring, casework services, financial assistance, food pantries, clothing banks, immigration services, Access applications, summer youth programs, citizenship classes, First Time Homebuyer Classes, housing counseling and foreclosure prevention, infant/toddler supplies, English classes, elderly services, human trafficking program, refugee services, refugee youth and family programs, youth mentoring and scouting programs, counseling services, School On Wheels program, early learning center, HIV/AIDS support services and housing, a residential program for mothers and children, and affordable housing.
