The American Lung Association of the Northeast serves Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont, and is the leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. We accomplish this through research, education and advocacy and our work is focused on five strategic imperatives: to defeat lung cancer; to improve the air we breathe; to reduce the burden of lung disease on individuals and their families; to eliminate tobacco use and tobacco-related diseases; and to monitor and enhance organizational effectiveness.
