Established in 1977, the Les Turner Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Foundation is one of the nation's largest independent Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) organizations and has raised more than $60 million to fight ALS, also know as Lou Gehrig's disease. The Les Turner ALS Foundation's mission supports: medical research into the cause, treatment and cure of ALS; clinical and support services for patients and families living with ALS; and dissemination of information about the disease.
