Established in 1964, Pearl S. Buck International (PSBI) has three distinct functions that operate as one with the common mission of providing opportunities to explore and appreciate other cultures, build better lives for children around the globe and promote the of continuing the legacy and dreams of Pearl S. Buck. Our programs include the Pearl S. Buck House & Historic Site, which preserves and interprets Pearl S. Bucks' National Historic Landmark Home; Cultural Programs which offers opportunities for international exchange, cultural awareness and diversity appreciation to equip people with the skills necessary to thrive in the 21st Century; and International Programs, which develops and delivers resources and standards of excellence to affiliates and partner agencies throughout the world.
