LRF is dedicated to identifying a cure through an aggressively-funded research program and to helping members of the lymphoma community by providing comprehensive, disease-specific programs and services. Results Information

Program Name: Focus On Lymphoma Mobile App
Problem

With more than 70 subtypes of the disease, lymphoma - the most common type of blood cancer - can be a complicated diagnosis. To help members of the lymphoma community better understand their specific type so that they can make informed decisions regarding their treatment options, the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) developed a first-of-its-kind mobile app, Focus On Lymphoma.

Strategy

Short-term: Understand the mobile habits, needs and wants of the lymphoma community in order to deliver a valuable resource that fits into their lifestyle; Intermediate: Adopt an agile development lifecycle by taking feedback from the user base and lymphoma community to continually iterate and improve the app; Long-term: Extend, improve and scale the most utilized features within the app to have a broader and more significant impact to lymphoma patients and the research community.

IF:THEN

IF the Foundation organize, disparate resources to deliver a best-in-class, unbiased mobile resource for patients and caregivers to have with them at all times during their lymphoma journey....

THEN the Focus On Lymphoma mobile app will become the go-to resource downloaded by every patient affected by lymphoma.

IF the Foundation collect analytics and insights from app users in order to learn over time how people use the app, what they find most useful, and begin to extrapolate the data....

THEN the Foundation will have a secure data repository which holds valuable patient reported data which could provide insights and value to the lymphoma community at large.
