Mission

Selfhelp Community Services Foundation raises philanthropic funds to support the mission of Selfhelp Community Services Inc., which is: Selfhelp Community Services Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to maintaining the independence and dignity of seniors and at-risk populations through a spectrum of housing, home health care, and social services and will lead in applying new methods and technologies to address changing needs of its community. Selfhelp will continue to serve as the “last surviving relative” to its historic constituency, victims of Nazi persecution.

Vision

The Selfhelp Community Services Foundation shall promote philanthropic excellence on behalf of Selfhelp Community Services Inc. Working in partnership with volunteer leaders and staff, the Foundation shall secure charitable funds to enhance services for our clients and respond to the emerging needs of our community.

Goals

1.Raise sufficient funds to ensure that the last generation of Holocaust survivors can age in comfort and dignity
2.Strengthen Board engagement and philanthropic leadership
3.Broaden and diversify the Foundation's donor base
