Mission

a To promote the health education and welfare of the citizens of Alabama particularly in communities which have a high percentage of culturally or economically disadvantaged residents or large minority population or which otherwise have been under-served in these areas; b To assist and facilitate the development of educational and health facilities in Alabama; c To sponsor health fairs seminars outreaches and similar events to educate the public on health issues and to encourage good health habits and practices; d To provide educational scholarships to worthy individuals;
