Mission

The EndBrainCancer Initiative | Chris Elliott Fund is dedicated to ensuring that all patients diagnosed with brain cancer, a brain tumor, or metastatic disease to the brain have equal access to advanced diagnostics, FDA-approved treatments, specialists and clinical trials. We believe that IMMEDIATE ACCESS to these options provides the patient community with the best HOPE for survival and sustained quality of life. We advocate for policy and care improvements while echoing the patient’s voice in clinical trial protocol. We partner with industry, patients, researchers, advocacy groups, medical teams, hospital networks and others to educate patients and their caregivers with a focus on next generation sequencing so they can have empowered conversations with medical teams.

Vision

The Chris Elliott Fund/End Brain Cancer Initiative is seeking to effect change and positively impact the outlook on Brain Cancer, brain tumors, and metastatic disease to the brain through patient education and direct connections to specialists, advanced treatments, and clinical trials.

Goals

1.Increase patient participation in clinical trials to help trials meet their accrual needs and to ensure that the "Patient Voice" is heard and actioned during trial protocol development.
2.Expand capacity of our Education, Awareness and Outreach programs to increase literacy in the general population regarding Brain Cancers and metastatic disease to the brain.
3.Advocate for change to key state and national legislators and government entities to influence policy change including Clinical Trial Reform and access to advanced diagnostic testing and treatments.
