    Mission Statement
    10 out of 10 points
The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking through articulating the organization's mission.
Our mission is to ease the suffering of children/youths and families who live with autism and other disabling conditions, and to improve their quality of life. The Center helps special needs children improve 46% to 91+% in their abilities to cope, comprehend, communicate and transition into mainstream society. Our programs foster their independence to help them become well-adjusted young adults living productive lives of inclusion in their communities. We also provide a holistic approach to advocacy, and build a bridge with schools instead of an adversarial relationship so that children receive their services more quickly. We place a special emphasis on helping the whole family-parents/ care givers, and siblings and alleviate stress, develop coping skills, and empower the family.
    Vision Statement
    10 out of 10 points
The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking through articulating the organization's vision.
Home Who We Are Welcome to Peace Valley Holistic Center We are an integrative center combining traditional and holistic therapies, as well as education for parents and children with special needs, with an emphasis on Autism. Previously known as the Golden Wellness Center since 1996, a need for specialization grew out of compassion for those in need of extra help and therapies that were exhausting the traditional methods offered in mainstream facilities. To educate parents concerning holistic therapies, that enable children and youths to progress successfully 46% to 91%, in their ability to cope, comprehend, and transition… to become successful in school, with their family, and in their community, with respect, dignity, and inclusion.
    Strategic Goals
    20 out of 20 points
The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: We have witnessed a gap in transition services for special needs youths and young adults. So, we though out of the box, and wanted to create a community program to fill this gap of nothing being available after 21 years of age.
Goal Two: Therefore we have taken an abandoned county property and rehabilitated to create Peace Valley Cafe. This will be an Apprenticeship life skills learning program for Special Need youths and young adults to ensure that they are successful in transitioning into their community. This will also create integrated employment awareness, as we will be opened to the public.
Goal Three: We are committed to a holistic approach to advocacy, by teaching parents self advocacy so their children receive a free and appropriate education. We advocate for integrated employment, & created a new program in this area of need. Our café program will be open to the public to advocate for proper transition resources, as well as advocating for integrated employment.
