Latino Leadership Council

Mission

The Latino Leadership Council is the only Latino-focused non-profit organization in the region that advocates for Latinos to access culturally and linguistically appropriate services in health, education and youth development. We do this through our mobile network of promotores, or cultural brokers, who provide advocacy and support to families so that they improve their personal situations and become thriving and contributing community members.

Goals

1.We have begun a Leadership Development Program whose first cohort will consist of Wellness Practitioners, including Latino professionals in healthcare and social work.
2.Our Forum brings together leaders in govt, health, education, and business sector to learn about the cultural and capacity challenges and solutions to serving the largest ethnic group in the state.
3.We continue to grow our staff in size and diversity to better serve our clients and expand the area in which we are able to offer services.
